It has been 2 years today since MandM was born and our first post, In Remembrance of the Religious Right, entered the blogosphere.
Apparently most blogs don’t make it to the 6 month mark so we are doing nicely.
Thanks everyone for your continued support.

A common objection to belief in the God of the Bible is that a good, kind, and loving deity would never command the wholesale slaughter of nations. In the tradition of his popular Is God a Moral Monster?, Paul Copan teams up with Matthew Flannagan to tackle some of the most confusing and uncomfortable passages of Scripture. Together they help the Christian and nonbeliever alike understand the biblical, theological, philosophical, and ethical implications of Old Testament warfare passages.

Happy Birthday MandM and thankyou for all you offer to the blogosphere.

That is interesting, though not surprising. I would be interested in seeing the cumulative stats on blogs, the speed at which they drop off and the time at which the slope becomes asymptotic, i.e. how long does a blog need to last before it is likely to continue indefinitely.
I thought it a possibility that I would not be able to maintain a blog so I set myself a target of at least 1 post a week, i.e. not too heavy a burden.
I am sure David Farrar knows the answer to that – it would be interesting to know though I agree.
Our goal is 1 heavy philosopical post, each, per week and every 2 days something quick whether its a different take on something everyone is talking about or something light. This makes it quite demanding but we decided some months back to try to make our blog our ‘brand’ given Matt is employment hunting and we do pick up the odd speaking engagement which usually pays something off it too.
