On 27 February 2011, John Lennox spoke at Howick Baptist Church as part of his tour of New Zealand on the topic “Why? Considering the Goodness and Sovereignty of God in the Midst of Suffering”. Here is the video of that talk. In it Lennox discusses some of the challenges to Christianity that events like the Christchurch earthquake create and suggests some possible Christian responses.
